Hey everyone!!! Gosh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize it had been so long since posting. Life has just been crazy and I've just been kinda keeping to myself. 1st things 1st. Brianna will be 8 months old in 4 days!!!
My big girl is sitting up on her own now! She can't make herself sit up so I have to help her with that part still but it's just exciting how much she has grown. She's also holding her own bottles now. She likes rolling all over the place. No crawling yet but she sometimes gets these looks in her eyes that she wants to. I give it a month or so. I'm in no hurry for her to grow up so fast. I'm still trying to process how fast 8 months has gone by. I swear I just had her.
Our Christmas wasn't all that exciting. The kids got a few things they asked for. Yes, that's a Nintendo Switch. Kayla wanted it and so did I. Do you know how hard it was not opening it for almost a month??? A few hours after we were done opening gifts, the kids were already asking for their tablets back. I'm like wow. You just got all these new toys and games and you want your tablets already. Thank God i didn't go buck wild with gifts.
Why am I wearing glasses you ask? Well these aren't prescription glasses. These are glasses to help filter out blue light from electronic devices. My eyes are generally on some kind of screen so I'm trying to prevent damage to my eyes. I know what you're thinking. Don't spend so much time with these screens then, but the world we live in today, sometimes it's just hard.
We also hit another big milestone in this house with Alex! He is officially potty trained and honestly I have my sister to thank for the idea. Alex is a huge Spider-Man fan. So, we told him that Spider-Man didn't wear diapers and if he wanted to be like him then he would have to wear big boy undies. By some crazy miracle, it worked. It took us a total of 3 weeks I wanna say to get him completely trained. He poops and pees in the potty and stays dry all night. No I'm not a miracle worker and still don't know how I got so lucky. I will say though, I'm a stay at home mom. Joey was off work for 2 weeks while we trained him. I basically was inside the house for two weeks training him. If you're someone who is on the go a lot then my method won't work for you. The only thing we need to get down now is showing Alex how to go potty without being completely naked. He insists on taking his underwear all the way off still. I have plenty of time to do that before we do preschool sign up next month! I'm so excited about that one! He's gonna have a blast and mommy will gain some sanity back having only one kid at home.
About a week before my birthday, my cousins kids unfortunately got sick. My cousin had purchased Disney on Ice tickets back in September obviously not knowing the kids would be sick so she was nice enough to pass them off to me and the kids and Joey. The kids were mostly good. Brianna was a bit of a handful at the end and I didn't get to see the Frozen set but I saw my favorite Disney Princess Jasmine and that's all that matters. The kids were so excited to see this.
So that has been the excitement in our household these past few months. Also trying to keep up on TV shows with my bestie! It's Bachelor season girls!! God I love the drama! Hahahahahaha. I hope he doesn't pick one of the obnoxious drama filled girls. Happy February everyone and enjoy your Valentine's Day!

sick and holidays
So last week was a pretty rough week in our household. All the kids were sick. Yes, I said all! Kayla was the least of my worries and Brianna wasn't awful either but Emma and Alex are just the same when they get bad. They both had fevers and were throwing up. It was not fun from one stand point but when you have sick kids, your house some how stays clean!!! I was beyond excited about that! That was my first time having all kids at once sick.
Emma pretty much lived on the couch for a few days. As long as she had her tablet she was fine. She did a lot of sleeping too. I'm glad her and Alex got their rest but their sleep also got super messed up. It's mostly back to normal now though. Last night I told Emma it was tie for bed because she had school today. Both her and Alex grabbed their stuff and went to bed. I'm like shit why can't they do this every night? For the most part they usually do but sometimes I'll get a fight.
With holidays coming up I'm trying to keep the kids healthy but in all honesty if they are sick, i don't really mind either. I'm a home body and would rather spend the day at home relaxing with the kids. That's what i honestly wanna do on Thanksgiving. Sit at home and watch the parade and our local news channel does this thing called the Turkey Bowl every year. I enjoy watching that. Its bowling with a turkey and cans of cranberry sauce. Very fun to watch.
Also with the holidays coming up, I'm looking forward to the few movies I enjoy watching to death. I like The Santa Clause movies with Tim Allen, Home Alone 1 and 2, Elf(Of course), and National Lampoons. Those are my go to Christmas movies. Oh and you can't forget the Charlie Brown Christmas special. When i was younger it was also always about the South Park Christmas episode. The one episode kenny didn't die in.
So the Christmas tree we have is like 3 or 4 years old. Last year i didn't put any decorations on it except the kids 3 decorations. The tree is pre lit so thats all that was on it. I have kids and a dog who undecorate. This year I don't think I want to put the big tree up. It honestly just needs tossed. I kind of want a small tree. I wouldn't put a tree up at all if I didn't have kids. Or I just need a felt wall tree that the kids can decorate and undecorate themselves. We'll see what happens.
That's all I got for now. I'm honestly just rambling at this point. See you guys soon.

5 months old
We are almost at the half way point already! Brianna is growing up so fast. She's being a lazy butt though and not wanting to do much but then again, Kayla was the same way. Alex was my fast learner with things. We haven't started cereal yet because we've all been sick and Brianna has also had a chest cold. I hate this time of year. Seems like all the kids are getting sick. It's worse when a baby is sick because there is literally nothing you can give them except tylenol. So for now, we just wait it out. These are my big girls stats for the month!
-14 lbs 9.6 oz

-size 2 diapers
-4-6 oz of formula

4 months old and other life adventures
My little pumpkin is 4 months old. (Yes I'm a few days late again..I was sick) She's doing so well. She's honestly a perfect angel. Yeah, I know all parents say that about their own kids. I'm just that mom. Here's all her stats for this month...
-14 lbs
-25 in
-size 1 diapers
-4 oz of formula
-size 3-6 month, 6 month clothes
-holds head up
-giggles
-rolls from back to tummy
-grabs for stuff
-grabs toes
-sleeps thru night
Some more fun stuff going on, My Emma has learned how to write her name by herself! I was so excited when her teacher sent home a note and the proof. She's doing so much that she wasn't supposed to do and I love seeing her progress so much in school. She loves going to school all day and getting to ride the big kid bus. Still no word on her picture day for this year but big sis Kayla has her's next Thursday. I love getting their pics done to see how much they grow each year. I have an 8x10 frame with all school pics in them. I put the newest one on top and just keep them all in that frame. Easy to keep track of.

So my oldest daughter Kayla is the funniest. She wrote this on our kitchen dry erase board. She loves all kinds of scary movies. I've found her in her room watching Scream and Nightmare on Elm street. She has learned about all these scary movie icons from the game Roblox. I wish I could explain to people what this game is but as a gamer even I have no clue which really bums me out. It's like a game with a bunch of mini games. There's a mini game that has a bunch of horror movie icons. This girl used to be afraid of all kinds of stuff but now she's braver. Now yes she is only 9. Yes I understand movies we grew up with have some kind of R-rated scenes but in the same sense, our parents let us watch these same movies when we were younger. I have no issues with her watching it. If she has questions, then she has questions. I'll answer them the best I can. So far no questions.
Speaking of scary movies, Halloween is coming up. We also are having our first real fall type day with weather. We were still in the 80s the past few weeks even though it's October. Today it is in the 50s. Brrr. We are cold. No heat on yet. I'm a stubborn ass. If the temps stay too cold though not all the kids will go out for trick or treat. Alex has his spiderman costume and Emma will choose one of Kaylas old costumes unless she wants to be something else then I will consider it depending on price. Kayla hasn't said what she wants to be. I guess that will be a discussion we have this weekend. What are your kids planning on being? I always loved Halloween growing up. Walking around, getting candy in my sweet McDonald's happy meal bucket they used to give out every Halloween. You guys know what I'm talking about. I'm hoping for a small warm up for Halloween so we can go out and not be freezing our butts off like we generally do every year.
So that's all for this post. Hope you guys have a fun weekend and Go Cleveland Browns!!! Let's get another win boys!

Cleveland Sports
Yes, you read that title right. I want to talk about Cleveland Sports. Why you ask? Well because I'm from Cleveland. I want to talk about it because last night was a pretty amazing night. No we didn't win the World Series or the Super Bowl or an NBA title. We won a football game. Yes. I'm excited over a football game win. It had been 635 days since the Cleveland Browns had won a regular season game! We finally did it last night though.
Being a Cleveland sports fan is probably one of the hardest things to do. We have a lot of upsets usually. Especially when it comes to our football team. We call our stadium the Factory of Sadness. (no I'm not kidding) Although this morning on our local news they were coming up with new names for it...The Bakery, Bakerfield and some other's I can't think of. It has taken some years but I think this is the year we have found our quarterback. And he's not bad to look at either.
Baker Mayfield. He was our number 1 pick in the draft this past year. I figured he would be sitting on the bench this year but our 1st string quarterback Tyrod Taylor exited the game towards the end of the 2nd quarter for a concussion. He was honestly having a bad game anyways. We were down 14-0. Send in Baker and we get some points on the board before halftime. The 2nd half of the game was just amazing. We pulled out a W and the big story was the Victory Fridges that were placed around the city with Bud Light in them. The fridges opened up. So since we played last night, Thursday, We get a week and a half off before our next game. We won't know who the QB will be but if it's not Baker, there may be an uprising in Cleveland. The win felt like a Super Bowl win. As crazy and stupid as it sounds it just felt great to win.
So you can't talk Cleveland sports without talking about the Cavs. Most people hear Cleveland Cavs and jump right to Lebron James. Yeah, he's a good player, but I got my eyes on this guy...
Kevin Love. He's pretty amazing. Also not bad to look at. The Cavs have had some interesting Finals the past 4 years. Out of those 4 years we got 1 Championship. All 4 of those years was also against the same team. I know the basketball community is seriously getting tired of the Finals being the Cavs and the Warriors. Honestly I am as well. I think this season will be a truly different finals game. Lebron has moved on to the Lakers. I'm curious how the Cavs will play this season and hope they do great still and prove to the world that Lebron wasn't the whole team.
And then there is our Cleveland Indians or The Tribe. We are once again the AL central Champs.
We're heading to the playoffs once again this year. Last year we were shut out in the first round by those stupid New York Yankees. I hate that Judge guy. Sorry/Not Sorry New York. Hopefully this year we are World Series bound and can pull out the win. I remember 2 years ago going against the Cubs and all the late night games. Trying to stay awake to hopefully pull out the win. But as we all know the Cubs took that from us. The Indians have a team full of pretty yummy guys. Like half the guys are pretty cute.
Here's just two of the guys. Jason Kipnis and Francisco Lindor. I'm pretty excited for the Post Season and am pulling for the big W at the World Series.
So as you can see being a Cleveland Sports fan is an interesting hobby. The big joke with all our sports teams is....There's always next year. We all say it every year.
I'm hoping to not have to say it at the end of baseball season. I'm pretty sure it'll happen with football season and not sure about basketball. Being a Cleveland Sports fan is a hard job...but someone has to do it!

(Sorry...I've developed a mad crush on this guy)

Fall TV
It is finally fall which means all of our favorite shows will be starting up soon. I have quite a list of shows I'll be indulging in this fall. A few oldies and a few new ones I'd like to try out. Let's get going with the list....
I started watching American Horror Story when the season Roanoke had just ended. I binged all the seasons and just fell in love with all the twists and turns it had. This season will be really awesome because Murder House and Coven will be crossing over. Can't wait to see Evan Peters as Tate!! Last season sure was crazy. I can only imagine what this season holds....it starts tonight!
Another show I didn't start watching from the beginning. I wanna say I got into it around season 4 or 5. So I have been a fan for awhile now. I am extremely sad that this is the final season. I hope they give it the ending it deserves. I love all of these characters so much. Penny and Sheldon are my faves though. Big Bang starts up September 24th.
This show started up last year. I was intrigued by the previews and gave it a go. I was hooked the first episode. I love medical mysteries like this. It's an amazing show and Freddie Highmore does an amazing job. If you didn't know Freddie Highmore is the guy who played Charlie Bucket in the new Charlie and the Chocolate factory with Johnny Depp. He's all grown up now! This also starts September 24th.
My nephew got me hooked on this show. I got into this show right before ABC canceled it. I grew up watching Home Improvement with Tim Allen and when I watched an episode of this with my nephew they sometimes have guest appearances from old Home Improvement cast members. I love his daughters on this show. Fox picked the show back up and it will be starting on September 28th with a few cast changes. I hope the new cast members can keep the characters I like still likable.
This show is new this year. It's about a flight of people who go missing for like 5 years or something like that and then they magically come back but haven't aged one bit. Seems interesting to me. I'll have to give it a shot. That is another September 24th start.
Now if you're like me and loved Buffy growing up then you know the main guy as Angel. David Boreanaz is pretty sexy. His last big show Bones was another of my favorites so I had to see him in this new one that started last year. It's pretty good and with this show there will be times I go a few weeks without watching an episode and then just binge 3 or 4 at once to get in my David time. Hahahaha. He's pretty yummy and there are some yummy cast mates as well. I will get to start watching that on October 3rd!
This is another new one starting this year. Me and my bestie Adrienne were trying to find another show to watch together and she mentioned this one. Brad Garrett is pretty funny. The previews look hilarious for this one so I'll give it a shot. This one starts September 26th!

We are on season 20 of SVU!!! That's crazy to think! I got hooked on this show while my kayla was just a baby. I wanna say it was season 11 or 12 when I started watching it on TV and being caught up with the world. I binged all the seasons from DVD's from the library! Yeah. Old school!!! When Elliot left the cast I was sure I wasn't gonna keep watching but I ended up falling in love with the new cast members they've brought in. I love Amanda and omg I'm blanking on the other new guys name. I apologize. He's weirdly cute to me. Carisie! That's his name! I would be sad if Olivia ever left the cast but I know after 20 seasons it's possibly gonna be coming soon. Or the end of the show period. SVU starts back up September 27th.
I, along with half the country, fell in love with Roseanne reboot. It was hilarious. Just like Roseanne back in the day. I couldn't wait for it to come on each week. Then Roseanne had to be stupid on Twitter and get it canceled. I'm glad they were able to work out a compromise though. I hope they can keep an audience without Roseanne. I do like everyone else on the cast. It will be different. I mean look what happened with Two and a Half Men when they killed off Charlie. Let's see what happens when Roseanne is killed off. The Conners starts up on October 16th.
America's favorite show. Yup, I'm hooked too! My bestie and I started binging on this right after season 1 ended. We were both hooked as was all of the country. I just wonder if now that we all know how Jack died, will they find a way to keep everyone hoked. I know I'm curious how this season will go with all the cliff hangers they left at the end of season 2. This is Us starts back up soon on September 25th.
I love Big Bang theory so of course I had to check out the spin off with little Sheldon. I love everything about the show. The actress who plays Sheldon's mom on this show is actually the daughter of Sheldon's mom on Big Bang Theory. And another funny tid bit is the actor who plays Sheldon's dad on this show actually played Leonard's bully in one of the episodes of Big Bang. I thought that was funny. I do enjoy this show though and hope it keeps going since Big Bang is ending this season. Gotta get my Sheldon fix somehow.
Those are all the shows I plan on watching this fall. My bestie Adrienne wants me to also watch Dancing with the Stars this season. I guess I will give it a shot. She hooked me onto Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise over the summer. Now we have none of that until January. So DWTS it is I guess. I hope I can keep up with all these shows. I have Hulu and a firestick to watch everything. Wish me luck on staying up to date without a DVR!
vent session about life
So lately life hasn't been going the greatest. Emma's new preschool is on my last nerve. They call numerous times a week about stupid shit and then someone from her school even had the nerve to call child services on me. Emma came into school with some mosquito bites. Well in this day and age we don't assume they are mosquito bites anymore. We jump to bed bugs. So for a week straight i got calls every day about her mosquito bites. I'm like i'm doing what I can for them. I'm not going to keep her trapped in the house because of mosquitoes. That's not really fair to her. The child services lady came out and talked with everyone in the house. She said there's nothing she can do. They are mosquito bites. There are kids wondering streets and dirty who need child services help more than my child with mosquito bites. Then the one nurse at her school was flipping out because Emma has a diaper rash. Well yeah, it's something she has dealt with her entire life. It was rough during the days it was pretty hot out. I told them you just have to put the cream on with every diaper rash. It's not rocket science.
My next issue started today. Joey calls me after i get comfortable after getting the kids from early release day to inform me he was let go from his job....again. But yet no reason was given. You can't fire someone without a reason. It doesn't work like that. So I'm sure I'm being lied to as always. He'll deny it as always. I've never met someone who was so inconsistent with jobs. I was stupid 11 years ago. I really was. Hey let's date someone with no job when we first meet. That's a genius idea. The only good thing I've gotten out of it was my kids. I love them all very much and couldn't imagine my life without them. I just wish i could be happy in life with no worries. I stay at home and take care of the kids. I do my part. Why can't he do his? My heart hurts knowing i have some tough choices to make. I've already filled out an application for section 8 housing. Who knows how long I'll be on that waiting list.
People always wonder how I get through tough times. I read and write. I write about perfect love stories that are just that...perfect. Unlike my life. They are happy people living happy lives with problems that get solved easily. I wouldn't call myself a perfect writer. I just write and write. I don't divide into chapters and I suck with writing descriptions or being descriptive. I have everything in my head and no one else will read it so why do I need to be descriptive? I don't feel like I'm a good writer. It's something i enjoy doing though. It puts me at ease and calms me down.
Those have been my issues in life lately. I'll find a way to get through them the best I can. I will do my part and take care of the kids. That's all I can really do.
